With over 30 years of experience in engineering, design, and construction, he brings a craftsman’s precision and an artist’s eye to every catio he creates. His background in CAD and structural design allows him to build custom enclosures that are not only secure and functional but beautifully integrated into each client’s space. A Gulf War Veteran who finds purpose and peace in serving others.  Few things bring him more joy than creating safe, enriching outdoor spaces for cats. Building catios isn’t just a job, it’s a calling that combines his love for animals, problem-solving, and thoughtful design.

She has dedicated her life to the care and advocacy of cats. With over 30 years of experience in cat rescue, she has worn many hats—Vet Tech, Veterinary Practice Manager, TNR Advocate, Foster mom, and Community Educator. Her deep understanding of feline behavior and well being informs every aspect of your catio’s design, ensuring it meets both the emotional and physical needs of the cats who will call it home. Known affectionately as a “Cat Whisperer,” she brings compassion, knowledge, and a lifetime of experience to everything she does. Her goal is simple: to help cats live safer, fuller, happier lives.

Together, we have the knowledge, experience, and love to bring your catio dreams to life for you and more importantly, for your furkids. 

Here in Oregon, where we share our home (and our hearts) with three long-haired rescue cats—all proud foster fails.  "Farallon" Fur Missile von Shtubby Butt, who came to us during our rescue days in California, is the inspiration behind our mascot cat, "Venture". "Samson" the Lionheart, who was found in a field and is still mostly feral, joined us through a local Oregon rescue. Most recently, a tiny long-haired kitten with striking eyes captured our hearts. After 6 months of nursing her through a serious URI, bacterial infection and pneumonia (twice), we realized she was already home. We named her "Kissa" which rhymes with Pizza. 

These cats are more than pets, they are our family, coworkers, design consultants, and the reason we do what we do. Every cat deserves a safe place to breathe fresh air, watch birds, and just be a cat. That’s what we build—And why we build it.
